Less is more

The more I let go of what is unnecessary,

the more clearly the essence reveals itself.

Only when I release the energy

I spend on controlling and adjusting everything

can desire become a true wish.

Just as rain falls, the sun rises,

and the wind blows,

everything that happens to me

is simply like water flowing past.

Perhaps true love

is believing in how beautiful

a person’s soul is,

simply by being who they are.

Less is more

무언가를 더 채우고 가지는 것이 아니라

불필요한 것을 덜어낼수록

본질은 선명해진다.

조정하고 통제하는 데 쓰는 에너지를 덜어내야

욕심은 비로소 소망이 된다.

비가 오고 해가 뜨고 바람이 불듯

내게 일어나는 어떤 일들도

그저 지나가는 강물 같은 것이니까.

진짜 사랑은

한 사람의 영혼이

얼마나 존재 자체로 아름다운 것인지

믿어주는 것이리라.
