순례

순례라는 것은

태고적 나의 자리,

내가 존재했던 곳으로

돌아가는 일이다.

스토리를 가진 사람이 역사이고,

그 이야기 속에 머무는 것이

순례다.

어떤 자세로 순례하는지에 따라

느낌과 배움은 다를 것이다.

Pilgrimage

Pilgrimage is

a journey back

to my primordial place—

the place where I once existed.

A person who carries a story

becomes part of history,

and to remain within that story

is to make a pilgrimage.

What we feel

and what we learn

depend on how

we choose to walk the path.
